Happy Anniversary! One year ago, Vista Family Medicine became a part of Little Company of Mary Affiliated Services, Inc., a network of physicians and facilities strategically located throughout the Southwest side. Vista Family Medicine is an intimate family practice providing clinical excellence above and beyond traditional medicine in a peaceful and caring environment.

Our board certified healthcare team consists of doctors, medical assistants, nurse practitioners, and clerical staff. The Vista team is committed to:

A Nurse Practitioner is an advanced practice nurse trained to provide a variety of medical services to varying age groups.

What education does a Nurse Practitioner have?
Master of Science in Nursing

What are the priorities of a Nurse Practitioner in patient care?
To emphasize health promotion, disease prevention, and to assess,  diagnose, and treat both acute and chronic diseases through  incorporation of evidence-based medicine and collaboration with physicians.

What is your specialty?
I am certified in Family Practice, pediatric through geriatric.

What are the benefits of seeing a Nurse Practitioner?
Patients receive individualized healthcare with special emphasis on patient education and psychosocial concerns.

What do you like about being a Nurse Practitioner?
I became a Nurse Practitioner to care for patients, their families, and our community  at large. I value a patient-provider relationship that is founded on trust, and seek to empower patients to embrace their health through knowledge and disease prevention.

What are your hobbies and interests outside the office?
I enjoy spending time with family, warm weather, good food, reading, and the occasional mother-daughter shopping excursion.
