The unexpected death of a baby leaves parents with such deep heartache and sorrow. The invitation for caring, support and guidance during this difficult time of mourning is so invaluable to healing and is being offered by The Family Birth Center at Little Company of Mary Hospital (LCMH).
The next meeting will take place on Saturday, September 21st, from 10:30 a.m. to Noon at Little Company of Mary Hospital on the 1st floor, The Link, Room N1702 and N1703. We invite all Angel Moms and Dads who have experienced a miscarriage, stillbirth or infant loss. September topic will be “Identity.”
Starting in October, the Cherished Angel Perinatal Loss Support Group will be held on on the third Tuesday of every month from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the hospital’s Cancer Center. The October support group will meet on Tuesday, October 15th. October topic will be “Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month.” The group is led by Kathryn D. Gardner, LCPC, PMH-C, Specialist in Women’s Issues.
This is a FREE support group. Free parking is available immediately east of the Main Entrance at 95th and California Avenue. To access the hospital, please use the Main Entrance on California Avenue and obtain a visitor pass.
