Picture that you are in the early 1960’s and imagine telling someone that in the spring of 1963, a British all boy act wearing Nehru jackets would soon achieve total dominance of the American pop scene, change the face of music and fashion forever and inspire a new generation to pick up an instrument and join a band, they would probably have laughed and called you crazy.
The Beatles brought sophisticated ideas to a mass audience. Their supremacy as rock icons remains unchallenged to this decade. The 1960’s brought music and culture together and inspired all music artists of today.
Join us as we recreate and salute all things British during our 7th annual “In Good Company” premier shopping event on Thursday, April 11, 2013 at the Beverly Country Club. The “British Invasion” is the theme for this year’s event. So join us as we celebrate all things British with great music, friends, raffles, food, drinks, and one-of-a-kind unique finds!
Raffle tickets are $20 each or three for $50 and winners do not have to be present. Prizes include: First Prize of a one night stay for two with breakfast included at the Peninsula Chicago Hotel, Second prize is a one night stay with tea for four at the Drake Hotel, and Third Prize is a custom duvet set donated by Southtown Paint and Wallpaper.
General shopping is from 5:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., or you can purchase an early shopper ticket to begin shopping exclusively at 4:00 p.m. at the Beverly Country Club, located at 8700 S.
