The Little Company of Mary Auxiliary invites you to their Fall Membership Drive, Leaving a Legacy. The event will take place on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 from 5 to 8 p.m. on the beautiful hospital grounds of the hospital’s Heritage Gardens.
For more than 86 years, the Mission of the Little Company of Mary Sisters to care for the sick, the suffering and the dying has contributed profoundly to the health and well-being of this community. Venerable Mary Potter, Foundress of the Little Company of Mary Sisters, spoke of the “Greater Company of Mary” in describing the lay people who assisted her, and that tradition continues today. In fact, it was the Auxilians, who in the 70’s, raised money to purchase the first Cobalt machine for Cancer therapy. The proceeds from the April “In Good Company” event went to LCMH Bereavement Services, our award winning grief program for adults and children.
Please share your unique gifts of time, talent and treasure, while learning about the legacy of the Little Company of Mary Sisters and Hospital and become part of the Greater Company of Mary.
A fee of $20 includes annual membership dues, wine, light refreshments, and raffle tickets. For more information, or if you are interested in attending the “Leaving a Legacy” event, please contact Carol Martinez at 708.229.5281.
