It’s that time of year again! Girlfriends across Chicagoland are invited to enjoy an evening of food, drink, good company and great information at our third annual girl’s night out event.
Little Company of Mary Hospital is proud to announce that on September 29, National Women’s Health and Fitness Day, Dr. Elizabeth LittleJohn, pediatric endocrinologist at the University of Chicago will be the keynote speaker. She will present “Obesity: The Childhood Dilemma,” providing information about obesity in children, how and why it has become a problem, and what we as a community can do to help prevent it.
Beginning at 6:30 pm, Wednesday, September 29, at the Hilton Oak Lawn, guests are invited to enjoy the company of your Chicagoland girlfriends. After dining on tasty hors d’oeuvres and wine, you will listen to Dr. LittleJohn speak. Then you will attend breakout sessions, where you’ll discuss today’s most talked about topics for women.
The agenda for the night is as follows:
- 6:30 pm – Refreshments and hors d’oeuvres (drink ticket for wine bar)
- 7:00 pm – Elizabeth LittleJohn, MD, Keynote Presentation
- 7:55-8:30 pm – First Breakout Session
- 8:40-9:15 pm – Second Breakout Session
Breakout session topics include:
- “Women and Thyroid Health” presented by Moira McQuillan, MD
- “Girls Just Want to Have Fun” presented by Joan Murphy, RN, PhD
