Do you suffer from joint pain? Or are you caring for someone who suffers from joint pain? Little Company of Mary is hosting a free seminar, “Find Freedom from Joint Pain” on Monday, July 14th at 11:15 am. During the 45 minute program, Orthopedic surgeons Khalid Yousuf, MD and Junaid Makda, MD will provide information beneficial to anyone who experiences joint pain. Attendees will learn more about what’s causing pain, as well as treatment options available to help.
“If you have joint pain, there are many different solutions available,” says Dr. Yousuf, “including non-surgical and surgical approaches that can significantly improve your ability to function in life.” The presentation will include information about how our joints work, things that may lead to joint discomfort and how to manage that discomfort or pain, including basic interventions such as ice and heat, medications, joint supports such as ace wraps, and more invasive interventions such as arthroscopies and joint replacement.
