On Tuesday, December 6th, Little Company of Mary’s Perinatal Loss Committee held a beautiful service in the hospital’s Cherished Angel Memory Garden, which serves as a peaceful place of prayer and remembrance for those who are grieving the loss of a child.
In May of 2015, LCMH unveiled the Angel of Hope statue, made known through the best-selling novel, The Christmas Box. The novel focuses upon the grief a woman faces surrounding the loss of her daughter. The Angel of Hope serves as a place for families to grieve and to heal.
A candlelit healing ceremony was held in the garden with remarks of remembrance, a moment of silence, balloon release and beautiful white flowers placed at the base of the angel statue.
