Cafe 95 Recipe Exclusive-Baked Tilapia w/Mango Black Olive and Caper Salsa

Little Company of Mary’s very own Chef James Denvir keeps our patients, visitors and staff members very happy and satisfied with his wide array of culinary dishes. Chef Jim’s menu appeals to just about anyone who finds a seat at Little Company of Mary’s Café 95. Chef Jim incorporates Asian, Cajun, Italian and Mexican flavors into his delicious menu.

As a gift to our readers, Chef Jim is sharing his mouth watering Baked Tilapia with Mango Black Olive and Caper Salsa recipe. So put on your chefs hat and start your ovens.  

Baked Tilapia w/Mango Black Olive and Caper Salsa

Ingredients:

2 pieces tilapia

2 teaspoons Olive oil

salt & pepper to taste

1 mango small diced

½ cup red onion diced

¼ cup black olives diced

2 teaspoons capers

2 tablespoons fresh squeezed lemon juice

1 tablespoon fresh basil chopped

Directions:

Cover fish with olive oil and salt and pepper to taste set aside. Combine all other ingredients together , cook fish in 350 degrees oven or grill until internal temperature of 145 is reached

Spread salsa over fish and serve. Enjoy!

  • Menu at new Cafe 95 looks delicious. Can a general menu (serving times and/or special days) be published in your online newsletter so community members have an idea when to stop by and try some of these items? If Friday lunch is baked tilapia day, we can make plans. We have been to the cafe when visiting people at the hospital and though it was an “off-time” the facility was really nice and the staff there was helpful and friendly.
